Virtuozzo Power Panel

Login: root (if you purchased a Linux VPS) or administrator (if you purchased a Windows VPS)
Password: The password you entered when you created your account. This password was also sent to you as a “New person created for xxxxx” email.

Plesk

Login: admin

Please ensure that you change your Plesk password as soon as you have created your account and have logged in, as hackers may be familiar with the default account settings.

Q. Can I run Windows Updates?

Ans: No, there is no need. Windows automatic updates are disabled as standard in a Windows Virtuozzo VPS due to the way in which a VPS is provisioned. All Windows updates are installed automatically and are pre-tested by the Parallels (Virtuozzo developer) to ensure that they do not cause conflicts with Virtuozzo or installed template applications.

Enabling automatic updates will potentially cause problems with a VPS, including preventing a user from logging on, maybe even to the extent of causing the server to become un-usable. It is therefore advised that Windows automatic updates are left disabled. If you require a particular update which is not installed, please log a ticket through the Support Center ticket system.

KalenTech VPS has a dedicated website for all support you can:
Browse the knowledge base

The support portal is full of valuable resources, before opening a ticket it is always wise to check through the knowledge base, troubleshooters and download guides as many topics are covered.

If your topic is not covered the most effective way to request support help is to open a support ticket in the portal, the ticket should contain as much information as possible to help our technicians help you.

There are two support departments; 1. Support, 2. Always open reboot tickets as ‘URGENT’.

For the support department please only use urgent for real emergencies.
